The Kia EV3 currently exists as a single generation (model code SV) which made its global debut in mid-2024. Production began in South Korea at the Gwangmyeong plant, with European and Australian markets receiving the model in late 2024 and early 2025 respectively. The lineup features two battery capacities—58.3kWh for the Standard Range and 81.4kWh for the Long Range—across Air, Earth, and GT-Line trims. In January 2026, a high-performance dual-motor EV3 GT variant was officially unveiled to top the range. As a dedicated electric successor to the Soul EV, it remains a central pillar of Kia's global "Plan S" electrification strategy through the 2026 model year.
